Bob has more than 25 years of venture capital experience. Prior to Peninsula, Mr. Patterson served as the President of the U.S. office of Thompson Clive & Partners, a London-based venture capital firm.

Bob's current investments include Factor TG and Green Plug. Select past investments include GlycoFi (acquired by Merck), Sequenom (Nasdaq: SQNM), Gain (acquired by Sybase) and Phonic Ear (acquired by William Demant).

Bob holds a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from UCLA. He serves on the Board of the Tuck Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth College where in 1998 he was the Inaugural Fellow for the Center.
